Thorsten Truijens

After studying in Germany, the US and Switzerland, Thorsten Truijens started his career in the controlling department of a multinational automotive company before working as a management consultant. As managing director of Controlling Partner St. Gallen AG, his focus is on international corporations that value and count on profound knowledge of the continental European and the Anglo-American view of financial management and highly appreciate his in-depth, up-do-date theoretical know-how in combination with his practical experience. His interests include Value Based Management, Accounting and Finance.

Furthermore, Thorsten Truijens has repeatedly presented lectures at various prominent international universities such as Harvard Business School on the topic of financial management. He also won numerous Best Teacher Awards.

He holds an MBA degree of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a doctoral degree from the University of St. Gallen. Currently, he is managing partner of a consulting company specializing in financial management. His previous work experience includes management positions in the automotive industry and extensive consulting work in the pharmaceutical and logistics industry.
