Ileana Stigliani is Associate Professor of Design and Innovation at Imperial College Business School in London. She received her PhD in Management from Bocconi University.
Ileana’s research on creativity, design and innovation and their impact on competitive advantage has been published in many international outlets, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, the Journal of Management Studies, the Journal of Management, ecc. Ileana teaches Design Thinking and Design for Business Transformation to MSc, MBA students and Executives.
In 2016, she received the Teaching Excellence Award for innovation in teaching from the Dean of the Business School.
In 2018, Ileana was recognised for her outstanding teaching by Poets and Quants, a prestigious international business education website that covers news about business schools and MBA degree programmes. In the same year, she was awarded the“Associazione Gianluca Spina” award from ASFOR (Associazione Italiana per la Formazione Manageriale) for best Italian researcher under 40 years.
In 2019, she received the best paper award for her article in the Journal of Management Studies.
