Professional Profile:
Marco Lossani is Full Professor of Economics at Università Cattolica in Milan. He is the Managing Director of the Lab of Monetary Analisys, a research center due to the joint effort between Università Cattolica and Associazione per lo Sviluppo degli Studi di Banca e Borsa, established in 1973.
Marco Lossani is a macroeconomist with research interests in the field of international monetary relations and in the process of european integration.
He was born in Milano in 1960. He graduated (summa cum laude) in Business Economics at Università Cattolica di Milano (1984). He got a Master of Arts in International and Development Economics at Yale University (1988) and a Ph.D. in Economics in Milano (Consortium Bocconi-Cattolica- Statale) (1989). He was Visiting Fellow at the Economic Growth Center, Yale University (1995). He taught at Università di Bergamo, Università Cattolica di Piacenza, Università Milano-Bicocca and USI (Università della Svizzera Italiana) in Lugano.
