In 2012 and 2013, she led the Under-16 and Under-18 teams to victory in the European Championships, nurturing players like Jasmine Paolini and Martina Trevisan, with whom she continued to work in subsequent years.
In 2016, she was appointed Captain of the Federation Cup team, successfully keeping the team in Group II and achieving significant milestones, such as promotion to the World Group in 2021 and a historic victory against France in 2022. These accomplishments paved the way for Italy’s first-ever Billie Jean King Cup Final, culminating in 2024 with the team’s victory and the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, the first Olympic gold in Italian tennis history.
