Paola Cillo is an Associate Professor of Management at Bocconi University.
She holds a PhD in Management from Bocconi. She was Visiting Scholar at the Snider Entrepreneurial Research Center at the Wharton School (1999-2000), Visiting Scholar at the Carlson School of Management (2005), Visiting Professor at the University of Innsbruck in Austria (2006) and at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (2008).
Her research focus is on innovation in symbolic industries, on market-oriented innovation strategies, and on pattern of new products’ launch in low-tech and high-tech contexts. She is also senior lecturer at the SDA Bocconi School of Management where she teaches course on innovation management, idea generation, and new product development.
Her articles appeared in leading Italian and international journals, including Research Policy, Long Range Planning, Journal of Product Innovation Management, European Management Journal, International Journal of Learning and Intellectual Capital, and International Journal of Human Resource Management.
She got the award for distinctive academic research from Bocconi University in 2008-2009, 2010-2011, and 2012-2013 academic years.
